Educate the Whole Child actively encourages all forms of creativity and the arts. They bring fire and enthusiasm to learning, especially when integrated into the mainstream curriculum. To encourage the arts in schools within our network, we offer Arts Awards each year.

We are pleased to announce the winners for the 2023 Arts Awards, with one in each of the four categories we recognize:

Pre-K through 2nd grade: Izzy Martinez-Salmouni, Boggs School, Detroit, Michigan

3rd through 5thgrade: Alayna Cook, Zaharis School, Mesa, Arizona

6th through 8th grade: Helen Kinkead, Boggs School, Detroit, Michigan

High School: Lola Saccardo, The Compass School, Westminster, Vermont

The winning student artist at each level was recognized with a certificate, and the winning school in each category received $500. We look forward to the next round of winners for the 2024-2025 school year.
